Arrival essentials
Plan this as a land stay or cruise extension. Confirm the airport or station, accommodation and onward connections before choosing your day; no cruise-port arrival is assumed.
Links checked October 28, 2026. Port arrangements and access need confirmation for your trip.
Two ways to shape your day
A focused first visit
Start from your confirmed arrival point and check your return arrangements. Build your visit around Golden Head Park. Confirm admission, walking requirements and time needed before setting out. Leave room for a nearby refreshment break, then return to your accommodation or onward connection with time to spare.
More to discover
Start with Golden Head Park as your main experience. If opening times, distance and your available time allow, add Basilica of Notre Dame of Fourvière. Confirm the route before combining stops. Return to your accommodation or onward connection with time to spare.
